Identify fuelbreak location, fuelbreak boundaries and property boundaries. <br /> 2. Provide a written description with treatment parameters and map showing <br /> treatment locations. Parameters will include species to cut/leave, spacing of trees <br /> where applicable, location and specifications for slash piles, stump heights, and <br /> size limits (upper and lower) for cut trees and brush. <br /> 3. Provide a contact to answer questions regarding treatments specifications and be <br /> available for on-site visits as needed or requested. <br /> 4. Provide Burn Plans and pre-identified, qualified personnel to implement <br /> prescribed fires safely and in a manner that will meet project objectives. <br /> 5. Provide a Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) for this work and follow-up with tailgate <br /> safety sessions. Document all sessions and keep in project file. <br /> 6. Provide a project coordinator or designate to meet on site with the work crew <br /> supervisor and review the project as needed. <br /> 7. Meet annually with the Department in September to plan for the next fiscal year's <br /> work. Draft an annual operating/financial plan which will be made a part of this <br /> agreement through a modification which will be signed by both parties prior to <br /> any project work being done. ''IN <br /> 8. Reimburse the Department for its proportionate share of project costs as per the <br /> Annual Operating/Financial Plan. <br /> D. THE DEPARTMENT SHALL: <br /> 1. Provide expertise,personnel, equipment and supplies as needed in conjunction <br /> with the Forest Service to successfully and safely complete all treatments. All <br /> personnel and equipment needs will be provided to safely function and operate all <br /> equipment. <br /> 2. Retain all liabilities in management of personnel and their safety. <br /> 3. Follow the recommended Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)requirements. <br /> 4. Provide a liaison to coordinate all activities associated with completion of the <br /> treatments. <br /> 5. Bill the Forest Service for its proportionate share of project costs as per the <br /> Annual Operating/Financial Plan, at least quarterly, but not more than monthly. <br /> 6. Adhere to all National Wildland Coordination Group (NWCG) qualifications, <br /> experience and training requirements for personnel and equipment participating in <br /> prescribed fire activities. <br /> Page 2 of 9 <br />
