AGENDA ITEM: Adopt Ordinance No. 5054-1594 authorizing the purchase of real property from <br /> Sundog Ranch, a General Partnership for Open Space (City Contract No. 2018-116) and Adopt <br /> Ordinance No. 5055-1595 granting an ingress egress easement to Sundog Ranch, a General <br /> Partnership, for 160.028 acres of real property in the Granite Dells for Open Space purposes. <br /> Funding is available in the budget for Open Space Acquisition. <br /> • The proposed purchase price is $2,000,000.00 or $12,500.00 per acre <br /> • City will dedicate a 50' wide easement across the Peavine trail for the purpose of <br /> ingress/egress in the area of an existing driveway to the ranch headquarters <br /> • City will work with the sellers to provide appropriate language and location for a <br /> plaque memorializing the Storm Family ranching history to be installed on the <br /> property. <br /> • City will purchase the property in an "as is condition" <br /> • City will provide appropriate boundary signage <br /> Financial Impact <br /> The amount of $3,700,000.00 is available in the Fiscal Year 2018 budget for Open <br /> Space acquisition. <br /> Attachments <br /> 1.
