(Ord. 4978-1516, 5-3-2016, eff. 1-1-2017) <br /> 4-5-2 FIRE SAFETY INSPECTION FEES: <br /> Upon applying for a business license, a ONE-TIME fire safety <br /> inspection fee, to be determined in accordance with City Council <br /> policy, shall be paid by the applicant for said license. IN THE CASE OF <br /> A LANDLORD AND TENANT LEASING ARRANGEMENT, THE <br /> TENANT OR BUSINESS OWNER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE <br /> FEE. The fire safety inspection fee will be paid thereafter cn an annual <br /> basis :r conjunction with the business license renewal. (Ord. 4978- <br /> 1516, 5-3-2016, eff. 1-1-2017) <br /> 4-5-3 EXCEPTIONS TO CHAPTER: <br /> This chapter shall not apply to the following business privilege <br /> licenses: <br /> (A) Home occupations. <br /> (B) Residential rental properties which have less thcr three (3) <br /> dwelling units on one lot or parcel. <br /> (BG) Businesses which have their physical location outside of the <br /> Prescott City limits." <br /> SECTION 2. PENALTIES: THAT any person who violates any provision of this Chapter <br /> shall be subject to the existing penalties found in Title IV, Chapter 4-6, Sections 4-6-4 <br /> ("LICENSE TERM AND FEES, PENALTIES") and 4-6-5 ("CANCELLATION, <br /> REVOCATION, OR DENIAL OF BUSINESS LICENCE"). <br /> SECTION 3. SEVERANCE CLAUSE: THAT the provisions of this Ordinance and the <br /> Code and Code Amendments it incorporates are hereby declared to be severable; and, <br /> if any section, sentence, clause or phrase of this Ordinance, or any Code and Code <br /> Amendments that it incorporates shall, for any reason, be held to be invalid or <br /> unconstitutional, such decisions shall not affect the validity of the remaining sections, <br />
