2 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 5053-1593 <br /> 1. Individuals engaging in private sales activities, such as the sale of a personal <br /> automobile or yard sale, on no more than three (3) separate occasions during any <br /> calendar year. <br /> 2. Persons under the age of eighteen (18) years engaged in part time or seasonal <br /> employment while still attending school full time. <br /> 3. MUSICIANS. MUSICAL GROUPS AND OTHER PERFORMERS AND <br /> ENTERTAINMENT ACTIVITY PERFORMED AT A LOCAL VENUE OR SPECIAL <br /> EVENT, EXCLUDING CARNIVALS OR CIRCUSES. <br /> "Delivery" includes wholesale or retail deliveries. <br /> "Person" includes all individuals and legal entities which may, under applicable law, <br /> conduct business. <br /> "Profession" means any occupation which requires advanced learning acquired by a <br /> prolonged course of specialized intellectual instruction or which involves original or <br /> creative work depending primarily on invention, imagination, or talent, including, but not <br /> limited to, accountants, architects, artists, attorneys, dentists, doctors, medical <br /> technicians, nurses, engineers, surveyors, and veterinarians. <br /> "Residential real property rental" means the business of offering for rent, lease or license <br /> a building or structure that is used for a home or residence by one (1) or more persons <br /> who maintain a household. It also may mean a mobile home offered for rent, lease or <br /> license by one (1) or more persons who maintain a household regardless of ownership of <br /> the land upon which said mobile home sits. This definition does not include short term <br /> rentals (for period of twenty-nine (29) consecutive days or less), or business activities, <br /> such as assisted living or behavioral health residential facilities, and/or any other business <br /> operation that does not meet this definition of a residential real property rental. <br /> "Separate business location" means a different physical address or branch location of the <br /> same business or franchise. A single business occupying more than one (1) suite in the <br /> same building does not constitute a separate business location. <br />
