RESOLUTION NO. 4225-1434 PAGE 2 <br /> Section 1. THAT the Impact Fee Report of the City of Prescott, Arizona, dated <br /> April 24, 2014 and the Impact Fee Schedule (Exhibits A and B) are hereby adopted in their <br /> entirety, copies of which are made part hereof and incorporated into this Resolution as <br /> though fully set forth herein. <br /> Section 2. THAT the Fee Schedule (Exhibit B) shall control the specific impact <br /> fees that the City of Prescott will implement. <br /> Section 3. THAT the effective date for the Water System, Water Resources and <br /> Wastewater System development will be August 1, 2014. <br /> NOTE: City Council will determine the disposition of Police, and Fire and EMS <br /> development impact fees at the May 13, 2014, Council Meeting <br /> Section 4. THAT the City will <br /> <Council to select one of the following> <br /> 1. not charge Police Development Impact Fees; and will not charge Fire and <br /> EMS Development Impact Fees. <br /> or 2. charge zero dollar and zero cent ($0.00) rates for each of Fire and EMS <br /> Development Impact Fees, and Police Development Impact Fees, from <br /> August 1, 2014, until January 1, 2015, at which time said impact fees shall <br /> comport with the Development Impact Fees Schedule of Exhibit B. <br /> or 3. <if applicable, another alternative to be described by Council.> <br /> Section 5. THAT the City Council hereby gives notice of intent to assess <br /> development fees and directs City staff to: (i) release to the public and post on the City's <br /> website the Impact Fee Report (Exhibit A) and the Impact Fee Schedule (Exhibit B) <br /> contained in this Resolution, and (ii) set a public hearing on the proposed development <br /> fees in accordance with applicable law. <br /> Section 6. THAT the Mayor and City officials and staff are hereby authorized <br /> and directed to take all steps necessary to carry out the purposes and intent of this <br /> Resolution. <br />
