PRESCOTT CITY COUNCIL <br />COMBINED SPECIAL MEETING/ <br />STUDY SESSION <br />TUESDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2008 <br />PRESCOTT, ARIZONA <br />MINUTES OF THE COMBINED SPECIAL MEETING/STUDY SESSION OF THE <br />PRESCOTT CITY COUNCIL held on OCTOBER 21, 2008 in the COUNCIL <br />CHAMBERS located at CITY HALL, 201 SOUTH CORTEZ STREET, Prescott, Arizona. <br />• CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Wilson called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m. <br />• INTRODUCTIONS <br />• INVOCATION: Pastor John Perry, Alliance Bible Church <br />Pastor Perry gave the invocation. <br />• PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Councilman Luzius <br />In Councilman Luzius's absence, Mayor Wilson led the Council and audience in <br />the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />• ROLL CALL: <br />PRESENT: ABSENT: <br />Mayor Wilson <br />Councilman Bell <br />Councilman Lamerson <br />Councilwoman Lopas <br />Councilman Roecker <br />Councilwoman Suttles <br />Councilman Luzius <br />Mayor Wilson mentioned that Councilman Luzius was under the weather today, <br />but expected to be back next week. <br />• SUMMARY OF CURRENT OR RECENT EVENTS <br />Mr. Norwood reminded everyone that on Saturday, October 25, 2008, the <br />Prescott Police Department would be holding the "Dump the Drugs Day" from <br />8:00 a.m. to noon, where expired prescription drugs could be dropped off. <br />
