PRESCOTT CITY COUNCIL <br />COMBINED STUDY SESSION/REGULAR <br />VOTING MEETING <br />TUESDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2008 <br />PRESCOTT, ARIZONA <br />MINUTES OF THE COMBINED STUDY SESSION/REGULAR VOTING MEETING OF <br />THE PRESCOTT CITY COUNCIL held on OCTOBER 14, 2008 in the COUNCIL <br />CHAMBERS located at CITY HALL, 201 SOUTH CORTEZ STREET, Prescott, Arizona. <br />• CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Wilson called the meeting to order at 3:01 p.m. <br />• INTRODUCTIONS <br />• INVOCATION: Father John Peck, Prescott Orthodox Christian Church <br />Father Peck gave the invocation. <br />• PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Councilman Lamerson <br />Councilman Lamerson led the Council and audience in the Pledge of Alliegance. <br />• ROLL CALL: <br />COUNCIL PRESENT: ABSENT: <br />Mayor Wilson <br />Councilman Bell <br />Councilman Lamerson <br />Councilwoman Lopas <br />Councilman Luzius <br />Councilwoman Suttles <br />Councilman Roecker <br />Mayor Wilson said that due to schedules of visitors attending the meeting, Item <br />III -A would be discussed first. <br />A. Presentation of check by the Economic Development Administration <br />(EDA) to Embry -Riddle Aeronautical University in support of their <br />Technology Park Development Project. <br />Economic Development Director Jane Bristol introduced the item, stating <br />that it was formal presentation of a check from the US Economic <br />Development Administration to Embry -Riddle Aeronautics University <br />(ERAU) for $1.9 million in support of their Technology Park Development <br />
