44, <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> "UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS <br /> 233RD BIRTHDAY <br /> NOVEMBER 10TH, 2008" <br /> WHEREAS, The Second Continental Congress resolved in 1775 to <br /> raise two battalions of Continental Marines;and <br /> WHEREAS, the Marine Corps has strived to produce not only the <br /> best warriors,but the best people;and <br /> WHEREAS, The Marine Corps motto of Semper Fidelis means <br /> "Always Faithful" and is a commitment we all share to our country, to our <br /> Corps and to each other;and <br /> WHEREAS The United Stated Marine Corps will be celebrating their <br /> 233rd birthday on November 10`h,2008. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, I, Jack D.
