In addition, there are currently four vacancies <br /> on the Advisory and Appeals Board and the Committee wishes to appoint a new member. <br /> Acker Trust Board <br /> Member: Dawn Dodson Expires 11/2008 <br /> The Acker Trust Board was established by Resolution No. 2463, adopted April 14, 1992, to <br /> advise and recommend to the Council regarding the use or planned use, or sale of any tract of <br /> land held in trust by the City of Prescott under the Will of J.S. Acker, and to otherwise advise the <br /> Council and make recommendations on the administration of the J.S. Acker Trust. The above <br /> member has indicated an interest in being reappointed for another three-year term. <br /> Advisory and Appeals Board <br /> Member: Thomas Menser Expires 11/2008 (General Building) <br /> H. Ben Schmid Expires 11/2008 (Mechanical) <br /> Rick Ryan (Vacant Seat) Expired 02/2008 (Plumbing) <br /> The Advisory and Appeals Board was established by Ordinance No. 1650 in December of 1983, <br /> and consists of nine members to pass on matters pertaining to the Building, Electrical, <br /> Mechanical, and Plumbing Codes of the City. The Board members are required to meet specific <br /> criteria, representing the following sections: General Building (2), Electrical (2), Mechanical (2) <br /> and Plumbing (2). The first two members above are interested in being reappointed; additionally <br /> there are four vacancies on the Board which are currently being advertised via the bulletin board <br /> at City Hall, the City's web page and also a request was sent to the Yavapai County Contractors <br /> Association and they are advertising among their membership. The third name above is an <br /> applicant to represent the Plumbing section, and the Committee wishes to appoint Mr. Ryan to <br /> the unexpired vacant term. <br /> 1 <br />
