Agenda Item: Approval of a professional services agreement with Red Oak Consulting <br /> for Development of Impact Fees, Infrastructure Improvement Plan and Associated <br /> Documents, and Analysis and Development of Utility Rates, in an amount not to exceed <br /> $289,694.00 <br /> Red Oak Consulting emerged as the top ranked firm for the project. The attached <br /> scope of services and fees were negotiated thereafter. <br /> Schedule <br /> Commence Work October 29, 2012 <br /> Utility Rates Study Complete October 4, 2013 (Target rates effective date 1/1/14) <br /> Impact Fee Study Complete April 14, 2014 (Target fees effective date 8/1/14) <br /> Budget <br /> FY13 funding has been budgeted and is available for this project in the Water Fund, <br /> Sewer Fund, and General Fund. <br /> Attachment - Exhibit A (Scope of Work, Fees, and Schedule) <br /> Recommended Action: MOVE to approve a professional services agreement with Red <br /> Oak Consulting for Development of Impact Fees, Infrastructure Improvement Plan and <br /> Associated Documents, and Analysis and Development of Utility Rates, in an amount <br /> not to exceed $289,694.00. <br /> 3 <br />
